I offer bookkeeping services to small businesses and individuals.  I have been doing bookkeeping for over 4 years and I love helping people with their finances. I’m a bit of a numbers geek. Some of my services include transaction entries, account reconciliations, providing financial reports, cash flow analysis, and payroll.  I am very skilled with Quick Books desktop and am a Quick Books Online Pro Advisor.  I also offer training for people who would like to do their own books, but are not sure how.

My work background includes helping teach high school math, working as an administrative assistant for an accountant, and being a staff accountant for a corporation.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Oregon State University and am a certified Accounting Clerk.

I decided to start my bookkeeping business as a way to use my skills and make some extra money while working in my regular full-time job.  I recently left my full-time job but continue doing the company books as a freelance bookkeeper.  I decided to go out on my own and expand my bookkeeping business because I prefer being my own boss and working on my own terms.  It has been a bit scary trying to grow a business (especially during times like these), but it is also exciting.  I love that every client has different needs and each business is a new challenge.

I’ve been married to my husband for almost 16 years and we have two children ages 14 and 12.  Some things I love to do are read, crochet, and travel.  My family is very important to me, and being available for my children is another driving factor for running my own business.  Being a business owner gives me freedom and flexibility.  It also gives me a strong sense of accomplishment and pride.  I feel very blessed to have my bookkeeping business and look forward to growing as a business owner.
